What is a Corner to Corner paint job
In our open houses tip we discussed the necessity of curb appeal. The reality is that no one can fall in love with your house unless they walk through it. This is an extremely powerful trick I learned years ago for making your Weston house look great.
Our Florida sun does a number on paint and we don’t even notice most of the time, but it does.
Take a chisel and chip a hunk of paint off of the part of your home that gets the lease amount of direct sunlight. This will be the closest color to when the paint was new. Go to your Home Depot with the paint chip and ask them to match it and give you 2 or 3 gallons and some paint rollers if you don’t have any.
What you are going to do is simply repaint the front of you home, nothing else. This will increase the clean crisp appearance of your home from the street and that’s what you want. Remember to have the grass freshly cut and the landscaping trimmed. This single trick will make the most difference in the first impression your home gives buyers.
